The President of the National Assembly (NA), Jorge Rodriguez, held a meeting this Wednesday with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Venezuela, Li Baorong, with the intention of strengthening the relationship of brotherhood between both nations.
Rodriguez informed this through his account in the Twitter digital social network @jorgepsuv, where he also thanked on behalf of the Bolivarian nation to the Asian giant for its solidarity in the fight against COVID-19.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, Li Baorong, affirmed last December that cooperation between the Asian nation and Venezuela has deepened in these last nine months, with the purpose of “preserving the life and health of the people” in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the reception of the ninth shipment of medical supplies from China, Baorong recalled a Chinese proverb: “true gold does not give you fire, the integral strategic partnership between China and Venezuela is this true gold. From the first moment China and Venezuela are together in this difficult moment, supporting each other in this battle against the pandemic”.
The Ambassador indicated that both nations are willing to continue strengthening and deepening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation, being an example for the countries of the world.
