The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved the development of the “Gradúate” (Get Graduated) program, in order to achieve 100% enrollment in high schools and universities.
At the Cuartel de la Montaña (Mountain’s Barracks), in an act in homage to Robert Serra, ten years after his sowing, the President was accompanied by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; the Minister of People’s Power for Youth, Grecia Colmenares; the president of the Robert Serra Mission, Mayerling Arias; and the political leader Oliver Guzmán.
There, the head of State shared, as part of a proposal received: “They propose to me the launching of the Gradúate Program, to achieve 100% enrollment in high schools and universities,” which he endorsed.
“Let us go to the Gradúate plan, so that (the youth) can become complete beings. I want to see the phase of their development, see that we achieve it,” while calling to “take the notebook of Robert Serra, along with the backpack of Chávez and Bolívar,” said the national President.
Training and education has been one of the priorities for the Bolivarian Revolution, philosophically framed in the tree of the 3 roots, Bolívar, Zamora and Simón Rodríguez, in turn it forms one of the vertices of the Great Mission Venezuela Joven, to promote, strengthen, the knowledge of the youth that will continue building the future of the country.
In this act to honor Serra, the head of State urged the construction of communal circuits and the help to the youth to conquer their dreams.
President Nicolás Maduro emphasized: «(to) go to build the communal circuits (…), to make the youth fall in love with their own country, to make them fall in love with the right to the future, with their own dreams to undertake together; it is the most beautiful thing we can do.»
He also asked the government authorities present to carry Robert Serra’s notebook, draw up the road map, plan, carry the backpack of Chávez and Robert, and act for the empowerment of the youth.
