President Maduro reiterates invitation to the EU to accompany parliamentary elections on DEC-6

«Send a commission in private and you will be able to see the truth of Venezuela that the United States does not allow you to see», invited this Thursday the president of the Great Patriotic Pole «Simón Bolívar» (GPPSB), Nicolás Maduro, to the representatives of the European Union (EU).

From the inaugural Class of the Training Program for candidates of the GPPSB to the AN, carried out via videoconference, the president of the GPPSB regretted that the EU did not become independent from imperial pressures, and publicly explained to them, once again, why they cannot pretend to give an opinion on the sovereign affairs of Venezuelans:

“The European Union suggested the possibility of postponing the date of the parliamentary elections in Venezuela, but it is impossible because it is a constitutional mandate. The only one who elects the Legislative Power in Venezuela is the people with their votes», he stressed.

He commented that these elections to choose the new National Assembly of Venezuela will be historic, since it will precisely be the rescue of an institution that was completely destroyed by the leadership of a stateless extreme right wing, which won the Parliament in 2015 and handed over the Legislative Power to foreign forces for the military intervention of the country. In the last 5 years, from the Adeco(*)-bourgeois National Assembly, he recalled, an attack has been made against the security and life of Venezuelans, by suffocating the Venezuelan economy with attacks and blockades unprecedented in national history.

He assured the revolutionary aspiring members that the country needs, within the framework of the constitution and as a product of the evolution of the revolutionary forces in this phase of resistance, a great change of laws and institutions, in the economy:

«And if we have had a NA that has sabotaged with its economic war, a National Assembly must now come to provoke an economic change and take charge of that change from the National Parliament».
