The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, announced on Wednesday changes in his Ministerial cabinet because several of the high officials who held these positions ran for candidates to the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).
He appointed Miguel Ángel Pérez Abad as Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Freddy Bernal as new Minister for Urban Agriculture, and Pedro Infante as head of the Ministry of People’s Power for Youth and Sport.
During the delivery of funding to the productive youth, the Head of State condemned on Wednesday all the violent actions that have been generated in these last two months, perpetrated by groups fomented by sectors of the opposition, which have left a balance of 67 deaths and more than 1,000 wounded.
“I condemn all forms of violence. I want a country of peace, a country of non-violence. I condemn all forms of violence”, said the National President.
