Venezuela commemorates Day of Loyalty and Love to Chávez

Venezuela commemorated on Sunday, December 8, the Day of Loyalty and Love to Chávez, a date that was made official by Presidential Decree number 541, resolution established in Official Gazette number 40.286 of Monday, November 4, 2013.
A day as today we Venezuelans remember on December 8, 2012, when Commander Hugo Chávez Frías talked to the people from Miraflores Palace, in a joint radio and television broadcast, to deliver his last address, in which he announced his health situation, and left in the hands of the current president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, the leadership of the revolutionary process.
There are many commemorations that government officials have made this day, to remember Commander Chávez, his words and his request, ratifying with their actions their support and loyalty to Maduro, through the #LoyalsToChavez hashtag on Twitter.

“7 years are fulfilled from that message that was registered in the soul of the Venezuelan people. I assumed the last intervention of Commander Chávez as a sacred commitment that I will keep as a sign of my loyalty and love to his legacy. Unity, Fight, Battle and Victory, that’s the way!”
