Venezuela and Equatorial Guinea strengthen strategic relations

In the framework of the 5th Summit of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries, which has been developing since last November 26 in Malabo, Venezuela and Equatorial Guinea signed three cooperation agreements in the areas of specialized technical assistance, goods and services and commercialization of hydrocarbons.
The documents were signed by the Minister of People’s Power for Petroleum, Manuel Quevedo, and the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines of Equatorial Guinea, Gabriel Obiang.
“For us it represents the seal of a brotherhood all these agreements that we have signed on behalf of our president Nicolás Maduro”, said Quevedo.
He also said that the peoples of Equatorial Guinea and Venezuela are united by the feeling of struggle for independence, sovereignty and the protection of mineral resources.
«Energy resources are for the development of the people. That is why from Bolivarian socialism we profess equality among all the peoples of the world”, he said.
For his part, Minister Obiang described this alliance as important, which will help strengthen the new phase of our oil industry in the Central African country.
