Venezuela advances import substitution through the Hugo Chávez Industrial Park


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated on Wednesday the activation of the “Hugo Chávez” Technology Park City, located in Anaco, Anzoátegui state, which will allow to solve the critical nodes and meet the demands of the 16 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.
The reactivation of the so-called “Factory of Factories”, will contribute to the expansion of the productive apparatus through the supply of parts and pieces made with Venezuelan seal to the public and private industrial park.
“It is a first-rate industrial emporium designed by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, who spoke of the need to install industrial complexes in search of economic independence. It is at the service of the entire economic apparatus at this stage of resistance», explained the National President from Miraflores Palace.
He added that the industrial complex has the capabilities for the manufacture of barn silos and storage tanks, necessary inputs for the strengthening of the agro-alimentary sector.
The Minister of People’s Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, said that in space it will be possible to produce canyon-type irrigation systems to supply 10 hectares of planting, as well as pivot-type irrigation systems capable of covering 50 hectares.
