The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent a message on Monday through his account on the Twitter social network to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the creation of Mission Robison by Commander Hugo Chávez on July 1, 2003, with the purpose of eradicating illiteracy in the country.
The message was accompanied by a video that includes words expressed by the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez and the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
On October 28, 2005, the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (Unesco) declared Venezuela as a territory free of illiteracy, thanks to the deployment of Mission Robinson.
