President Maduro denounced that the USA applies illegal indebtment to Citgo

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Tuesday that the oil refiner and marketer of gasoline, lubricants and petrochemicals (CITGO) is being deflated through illegal indebtment by the US government in complicity with leaders of the Venezuelan opposition.
“1,300 million dollars are being stolen today, at this time, from Citgo with the complicity of the government of Donald Trump”, he said in a joint radio and television broadcast.
“It’s a crime what they are doing with Citgo! They are doing business by which at least 10 percent reaches the pocket of the thieving deputies of the National Assembly of the right wing”, he said.
At the same time President Maduro emphasized that those involved in this crime will be tried before the competent authorities and that the refining company will be returned to the Venezuelan State when the breach of Venezuelan assets is proved before the US courts.
“They are using, to steal and destroy, this company that belongs to a single owner, the sovereign people of Venezuela”, he said.
On the other hand, the Head of State reiterated his commitment to guarantee peace in the country and argued that only a government with collective, revolutionary and Chavista vocation can take the reins of the Homeland.
