The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, informed on Thursday that the Russian Federation will supply 600,000 tons of wheat to Venezuela next year, following an agreement reached in the official visit he is making in Moscow.
The Head of State stressed that during a work journey carried out with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, was signed a contract to ensure the supply of this item:
“This is very important because you remember the war on bread that they made us two years ago, which they have already done to many revolutionary processes in other countries to destabilize them”, he said.
This information was released by the Venezuelan leader in a balance offered during his visit to Russia to strengthen the strategic relations of cooperation, in which both nations signed various agreements on oil, defense, trade and finance, among others. .
