Elvis Amoroso appointed as Comptroller General of the Republic

The National Constituent Assembly (ANC) appointed Elvis Amoroso on Tuesday to assume the post of Comptroller General of the Republic.

The president of the Plenipotentiary Power, Diosdado Cabello, explained that the former Comptroller Manuel Galindo, obtained his retirement and for this reason he postulated Amoroso to fill the vacancy.

The proposal was taken to the plenary consultation, who unanimously raised their hands as a sign of acceptance and approval. Immediately was proceeded to the oath of Amoroso.

Later, and given that the second vice president of the ANC was vacant, Cabello proposed Gladys Requena, to assume this responsibility, a proposal that was also accepted by the plenary.

Also during the ordinary session, Beysce Loreto was appointed and sworn in as the new deputy prosecutor of the Republic.
