Maduro reiterates protection to the Venezuelan people with subsidy to gasoline

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Thursday the protection that the State offers to Venezuelan families by subsidizing the cost of gasoline through the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card), once the international fuel price is set:

“We will put gasoline at an international price, and through the Carnet de la Patria we will subsidize the price of fuel to the Venezuelan family”,detailed the Head of State said through his account on the Twitter social network.

President Maduro wrote in that same message: “We will save more than 10 billion dollars, which will be invested in benefits for our people”.

This new system that is being implemented in the Amazonas, Apure, Bolívar, Falcón, Delta Amacuro, Táchira, Sucre and Zulia states, is in a trial phase for a period of 15 days and is part of the economic recovery plan of the country, in this case, with the specific objective of curbing fuel extraction contraband in the border areas”.
