The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Psuv, Nicolás Maduro, urged the different cultural and social sectors of the country to form along with the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, a movement that revolutionizes the identity and rebel thought committed to the Bolivarian Revolution:
“I want us to do a special job, and the Jpsuv in all the parishes, in all the municipalities and in all the states of the country to articulate with the artists, intellectuals, creators, thinkers, so that a new generation of intellectuals, thinkers, of Venezuelan scholars may emerge”, he said.
Maduro called on the thinkers and intellectuals to join the people “and their art and creation has to be put at the service of the national cause of the people and the revolution (…) Fortunately we have a sector of thinkers, intellectuals and a sector of the culture deeply committed to the cause of the Homeland and the Revolution”, he added.
The Head of State asked for the incorporation of a new and powerful movement of thinkers and cultors in the congress of the Jpsuv:
“I look forward to seeing a powerful sector of creators, of intellectuals, of writers, of thinkers, of cultors in the youth congress in September, and I look forward to seeing a new and powerful powerful movement of thinkers and cultors emerging from the very bosom of youth in Venezuela, that arises from the catacombs themselves” he stressed.
He highlighted the role of the Jpsuv to contribute to the “Plan Vuelta a la Patria” (Return to the Homeland Plan) of the young people who emigrated to other countries, being victims of xenophobia: ” We Venezuelans will not be slaves of anyone in the world”, he said.
