Caracas and Havana review progress of the Integral Cooperation Agreement

In a dialogue aimed at reviewing the progress of the Integral Cooperation Agreement, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, holds a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, in the context of the work agenda that he fulfills since this Thursday in Venezuela.

The meeting that takes place at Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas, is also conducive to evaluating issues of bilateral interest, as well as the strengthening of common positions in defense of the self-determination of peoples.

Previously, Marrero Cruz, ratified as Prime Minister in the constitutive session of the 10th Legislature of the National Assembly of People’s Power held on April 19, 2023, detailed that the work visit “includes meetings with the highest authorities of this brotherly country, and to follow up on the Integral Cooperation Agreement between our nations.”

During his stay in Venezuela, the Prime Minister of Cuba led an exchange with Cuban collaborators “about the current situation of our country and the advance of the process of implementing the Government’s projections to correct distortions and re-boost the economy.”

The strategic cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela includes the areas of health, sports, education, communication, food, science and energy.
