Head of State called on revolutionary governors to unify forces

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, urged the Governors-elect in the 18 states where the revolutionary forces triumphed, to devote their best efforts to have the best political methods in order to unify forces.

“If we are able to shake hands with our most bitter opponents, who won us four Governorships, we have to know how to shake hands with our colleagues who suddenly did not understood the candidacy, or did not agree, and the time has come to unify forces. All the power, all the victory we got on October 15 must be to unify forces, to attract new forces”, he affirmed during the High Level Workshop for Strategic Planning Towards a New Stage of the Bolivarian Revolution.

In a work meeting with the 18 revolutionary Governors, Protectors of states and members of the ministerial team, the Head of State entrusted to each one the task of unifying the political, moral, spiritual, popular forces, all along the entire country.

Finally, he informed that he expects new electoral battles to take place in 2017.

“2017 is the beginning of a long cycle of victories and the consolidation of the Bolivarian Revolution. 2017-2030, of consolidation, to make the Revolution irreversible”, he said.
