Venezuela and Sudan evaluate agreements in the energy sector

The Minister for oil and president of Petróleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa), Manuel Quevedo, met Monday with the Ambassador of Sudan, Eltayeb Abdulgassim, in order to define agreements in the energy sector.

The meeting also served to explore mechanisms to reactivate bilateral energy relations, as reported PDVSA on Twitter.

The ambassador of Sudan, Eltayeb Abdulgassim, reaffirmed the inclusive and sustainable commitment of his country to continue working on strengthening agreements with Venezuela.

Sudan has two important oil pipelines through which oil is exported to China, a strategic ally of Venezuela. Given this scenario, Caracas works to achieve a broader cooperation.
