Padrino López to Almagro: Stop disrespecting the people of Venezuela

The People’s Power Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, on Thursday urged the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) Luis Almagro, to stop disrespecting the people of Venezuela.

“I call on the secretary general of the OAS, as a Minister and as a Venezuelan citizen, to stop disrespecting the people of Venezuela, because the will of the Venezuelan people is one and is exercised sovereignly in free, fair and transparent elections, with full liberties”, said the Minister in reference to Almagro’s interventionist statements on the regional elections held on October 15, where Revolutionary forces won 18 Governorships of the 23 states of the country.

He invited to come to Venezuela to the “imperial puppets” so they can know the reality of the country and observe the democratic exercise that took place last October 15 where the will of the people was expressed.

“Let them come here, instead of being with a microphone and a Twitter account in other latitudes talking about Venezuela without knowing what they are talking about, with that they offend and underestimate the people of Venezuela”, he emphasized.
