Chancellor offers balance on international tour of President Maduro

The Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, offered on Friday a balance on the tour developed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through Asia.

From the premises of the Yellow House, headquarters of the Chancellery in Caracas, the high official referred to the decisions made by the Venezuelan leader in the context of the Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held last Sunday in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan.

During a press conference, Arreaza said that the Venezuelan Government will strengthen the bilateral cooperation agenda with Turkey and Kazakhstan, through the reactivation of joint committees established for the management of joint agendas.

Regarding Iran, President Nicolas Maduro and his counterpart, Hasan Rouhani, agreed to reconvene the joint commission established between the two nations to strengthen mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, while assessing the United States’ bellic agenda with both nations.

Both leaders agreed to coordinate mechanisms to protect the peoples of both nations from the aggression promoted by the United States. Maduro and Rouhaní “pledged to coordinate policies to address threats and undertake joint projects”, said the chancellor.
