The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered to ensure the security of the internal elections that will be carried out by the Venezuelan opposition on September 10 to determine their candidates for regional elections.
“As we know, that will be a disaster, I have given orders to provide all security, protection and support needed for the opposition to have their primaries in peace and order”, said the Head of State.
During a meeting with constituents, he stressed that the opposition acknowledges the ANC by registering more than 10 candidates per state for the Governors elections.
Finally he asked the ANC to make a commitment to be signed by all the candidates to the regional elections, where it is established that the results are accepted.
