Anyone who attacks a sentry will go to military justice

“In the United States and any part of the world, the attack on a military installation is considered an act of war and will be repelled with real fire”, said Luis Motta Domínguez, Minister for Electric Energy (M / G). regarding the aggression against Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base, also known as La Carlota, last May 6 and 8, during a “peaceful” opposition demonstration.

Faced with these aggressions, the National Government and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces have responded “stoically”, said during an interview in the “Dando and Dando-Radio” (Taking and Giving-Radio) program, led by the Vice President for the Development of Territorial Socialism, Aristóbulo Istúriz, and Deputy Tania Díaz, By RNV Informative channel.

Motta Domínguez reaffirmed his support for the decision taken by Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López, based on military law, assuring that anyone who attacks a sentry should be tried by the military justice system, in a scenario where the alteration of the public order degenerated in attacks and aggressions to the sentinel.

“The national guard when planting a barrier is not repressing, it is preventing a disturbance of public order and when these ladies or boys attack this person who is∫ stoically standing, to avoid disturbing of the public order, they are attacking a sentry. ”

The Minister acknowledged the responsible actions of the State security forces, in strict respect for Human Rights, recalling that the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in its article 55 allows the involvement of toxic agents in the management of situations of alteration of the public order.
