Maduro: NAM prepares strategies to relaunch dialogue and culture of world peace

“There has been talk in the world about dialogue of all civilizations for peace, and since the Presidency of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, we are preparing a plan to promote through the United Nations Organization a culture of coexistence and respect among all Peoples of the world”.

The statement was made by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, from his program “Los Domingos con Maduro” (Sundays with Maduro), in which he referred to the new challenges facing the human race before a new attack of xenophobic, racist and warmongering policies of some nations of the planet.

In his speech, the National President explained that the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (NAM) will deliver a set of strategies to relaunch dialogue and respect, while adding that it is evaluating jointly with members of the Community of Latin American States and Caribbean (CELAC), PetroCaribe and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our Americas (ALBA), on what should be the reaction of the Southern nations to the threats.

“A language of warmongering aggression is being installed in the world. What do wars bring? More deaths, more misery, more hunger, more division, which was what the former President of the United States -Barack Obama- left behind”, he said.
