Erika Farías: CLAP aims to assist 6 million households by April 2017


Following instructions from the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, the Vice-President of Territorial Socialism, Erika Farías, presided over an assembly with spokespeople from the communal councils of the Heroic Corridor Caracas-La Guaira, where she assured that by April 2017 they will meet the goal of serving 6 million households through the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP).
The also minister for the communes and social movements announced: “this December we are going to approach or pass the number of 2 million households served by Local Committees of Supply and Production, in January we will reach the figure of 4 million attended (…) we are also distributing 20 million kilos of pork so that the people can make their hallacas, (…) our children will have their gifts of baby Jesus, thanks to the Revolution, ” she said.
Minister Farias warned: “In this year 2016, we once again defeated the American empire with our President Nicolás Maduro at the head, with our party, with our people’s power … with our students, with the workers, with the peasants , With the patriot woman who has been at the front in this fight and we will celebrate with joy, because we have been victorious.
Farias stated that CLAPs must reach their highest level and continue to advance the production of the communes with the implementation of the Bolivarian economic agenda.
