Ernesto Samper: National dialogue continues for the well-being of Venezuelans


The Secretary of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur), Ernesto Samper, said this Tuesday that the national dialogue continues for the well-being of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, adding that “we know the difficulties of Venezuelans, and therefore we ask to rely on dialogue “.
Samper also called on political leaders “To the ceasing of the media fire,” which only creates confusion in the Venezuelan community. “We are not going to replace the Venezuelans in their decisions, (…) we are fierce to the dialogue”.
The Secretary of Unasur was accompanied by Monsignor Claudio Maria Celli, special envoy of the Vatican, and the former presidents José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (Spain), Leonel Fernández (Dominican Republic) and Martín Torrijos (Panama).
