The Venezuelan Head of State, Nicolas Maduro, held a telephone conversation with the United States’s Secretary of State, John Kerry.
“He urged Secretary Kerry on the need to establish and leave a positive work agenda for the next administration in favor of bilateral relations and the favorable relationship for our region,” said a statement issued by the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs.
This was reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodríguez, through her account in the Twitter social network, @DrodriguezVen.

COMMUNIQUÉ
Today, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received a telephone call from the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry.
President Nicolas Maduro asked Secretary Kerry to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump, as well as giving his greetings to Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton.
President Maduro and Secretary Kerry reviewed the state of bilateral relations within the framework of what had recently been discussed in the city of Cartagena de Indias.
In that order, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela insisted to Secretary Kerry on the need to establish and leave a positive work agenda for the next administration in favor of bilateral relations and the favorable conjugation for our Region.
