President Maduro met with King of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh

The Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, met in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia, with the king of that country, Salman bin Abdulaziz, as part of the work agenda in the nation, the third one visited within the tour by member and non-member nations of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in order to recover and stabilize oil prices.
“An excellent meeting with the King of Saudi Arabia and a successful visit, we go advancing, nothing and nobody will stop us”, said the Head of State in a message posted on his account on the Twitter social network.
The tour of the President, who has already visited Azerbaijan and Iran, precedes the meeting to be held in Vienna with representatives of OPEC and non-OPEC member countries on November 28 and 29, in order to assess actions that contribute to the rise in oil prices, which are experiencing the lowest cycle of the past 45 years.
On November 30, OPEC countries will make a formal meeting where will be signed the agreement to freeze the production, agreed in September in Algeria.
This agreement, which envisages to add producers outside the bloc, commits the 14 OPEC member countries to maintain a joint range of production of 32.5 to 33 million barrels per day.
Moreover, Maduro said that the Bolivarian Revolution will continue overcoming, despite the constant attacks and claims by the right wing, which seeks to seize power by unconstitutional means.
“The right wing and imperialism get desperate. Let them with their despair, here we are with our love, with our hope, with our work, focused, relying on our strength in the civil-military union, and trusting that we have the project. We are on the way, we have the love and we are overcoming, and will continue overcoming”, he said.
He anticipated that as part of the new phase of the Bolivarian Revolution, the Socialist Basis of Missions will be brought to more urbanisms and communities across the country.
