National Economy Team will establish plan for streamlining procedures by 2026

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered his economy team to design a plan to simplify administrative procedures. The goal is to achieve an efficient state that drives national productive growth processes in all sectors.

During the meeting of the National Council of Productive Economy, the head of state instructed the economy team to convene in permanent session. Their mission is to create a mechanism that establishes a single point of contact and a single procedure to reduce the bureaucratic complexity faced by industrialists and business owners.

The president set a specific deadline for this administrative transformation: the first quarter of 2026. This measure seeks to significantly expedite economic processes and facilitate the operations of the Venezuelan productive sector.

Maduro highlighted that Venezuela maintains important trade agreements with major markets such as Russia, India, and China. He noted that simplifying procedures is fundamental to taking advantage of the opportunities offered by these new global economy powers.

The National Council of Productive Economy must maintain continuous work on developing this simplification plan. The focus will be on strengthening business activity and moving towards a more agile and competitive economic model in the export sector.

The president emphasized the need to diversify the national economy with products other than oil. This bureaucratic transformation is part of a comprehensive strategy to boost international trade integration and national productive development.
