Youth Constituent Assembly gathers young communicators to redefine new forms of communication

At the headquarters of the Great Mission Venezuela Joven (Young Venezuela), more than 365 communicators gathered to discuss proposals and concrete actions to combat the cognitive warfare waged by extremist sectors against the Venezuelan people and to develop new ways of showing the world the truth about Venezuela.

The Vice President for Communication and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, highlighted the political and ethical capacity of Venezuelan youth, which translates into a sense of belonging and defense of national sovereignty:

“Venezuelan youth is extraordinary; they fight on all fronts for the defense of the homeland, building independence and social rights amidst the consolidation of the democratic transformations taking place in the country,” detailed Vice President Ñáñez.

The also Minister for Communication and Information expressed his satisfaction at participating as a speaker in what has been called a Youth Constituent Assembly, as it gathers the diverse voices of all young people and establishes a roadmap to strengthen the method created by President Nicolás Maduro: “Media, Streets, Networks, Walls, and Radio Bemba (Word of Mouth)” for the emancipation of the people in the digital age.

“The Youth is connected to the strategic concepts surrounding this method to consolidate digital activism,” he stated, adding that proposals for transforming communication methods in the country will emerge from this two-day meeting.

For her part, Génesis Garvett, head of the Great Mission Venezuela Joven (Young Venezuela), emphasized that this gathering responds to the need to generate a national reflection on how to continue defending peace in Venezuela every day, with joy and truth.
