Imperial aggression consolidated unbreakable bond between the People and the FANB

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that 22 weeks of imperial aggression have strengthened the unbreakable bond between the people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). The President described this period as «psychological terrorism» that put to a test the love for the Homeland and strengthened the will for national defense.

During this time, he recalled, more than 6.2 million militiamen have activated, constituting a people’s force that strengthens the country’s defensive capacity. This massive mobilization represents for the Venezuelan government the realization of the principle of comprehensive defense based on the People’s Power. The President highlighted that the military and police exercises carried out in recent weeks have raised the integral defensive capacity to unprecedented levels.

This preparation – as emphasized the President – guarantees national sovereignty and dignity for future generations, creating an insurmountable barrier against any external threat. President Nicolás Maduro publicly acknowledged the discipline and patriotic courage of the FANB, exclaiming: “Long live the FANB, the united liberating army of the 21st century!”

This recognition is part of the official discourse that presents the military institution as a guarantor of national independence and peace. Parallel to the military mobilization, constituent processes were activated for teachers, workers, students, and farmers, further strengthening the Communal Councils and Communal Circuits.

These initiatives seek to consolidate popular organization as the foundation of the integral defense system. The Venezuelan President highlighted that these events have demonstrated the empowerment of the Venezuelan people and its full awareness of the need to build the Homeland in peace. Along these lines, he sent a clear message to the international community: “We do not interfere with anyone in this world. Let nobody mess with Venezuela”.
