With joy and patriotism, the Venezuelan people mobilized throughout the country for the swearing-in of the Integral Bolivarian Community Commands (CCBI). These commands were democratically elected last weekend as part of the strengthening of the People’s Power and community organization.
This new organizational structure is consolidated as the highest level of the more than 241,000 Bolivarian Committees of Integral Base already established in the country. The process responds to the guidelines issued by the 5th Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to strengthen territorial organization. With this restructuring, the roles of grassroots leadership are formalized, with the former street leaders becoming members of the Base Committees, while the community leaders are transformed into the new Community Commands.
This new structure has its own communication system and specific work codes. From the México avenue in Caracas, citizen Darwin Muñoz emphasized that this process guarantees the unification of the people for building a powerful Venezuela: «In the grassroots of the people and the communities, together we create and design the Venezuela we want,» as expressed the participant.
Muñoz specified that this massive mobilization sends a clear message to the world: «We are with President Nicolás Maduro, we are praying to God, and we are standing firm to guarantee peace.» The swearing-in represents a significant step in Venezuelan popular organization.
This initiative seeks to strengthen the electoral machinery, ensure the active participation of the population, and bolster the defense of the homeland through a more organized and efficient community structure throughout the national territory.
