The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) executes the Independencia 200 (Independence 200) Plan with a permanent deployment throughout the national territory. This offensive operation aims to defend the homeland against any external or internal threat in the country’s 23 states.

In La Guaira state, the perfect civic-military-police coordination that characterizes the plan is evident. Troops are carrying out continuous patrols and surveillance in strategic areas, guaranteeing control and security for all citizens of the coastal state.

Simultaneously, in Bolívar state, the FANB is maintaining a strategic offensive with the deployment of all its units. The commander of the Bolívar ZODI (Operational Zone for Integral Defense), Major General Miguel Yilales Arteaga, is leading joint security operations that comply with rigorous intelligence, patrol, and immediate response plans.

The border of Táchira state is also part of this national deployment, with maneuvers carried out in the town of Ureña. During the early morning hours of Friday, November 14, the armed forces conducted surveillance operations to safeguard the population, following the directives of President Nicolás Maduro.

This comprehensive security plan reflects the Venezuelan military doctrine of active defense. The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) are demonstrating their operational capacity to maintain national sovereignty while protecting the civilian population throughout the country.
