The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has called for a permanent mobilization agenda throughout the entire national territory. This measure responds to the rejection of a military action that the United States (US) intends to carry out from Trinidad and Tobago against Venezuela, as stated the party’s Secretary General, Diosdado Cabello.
In a press conference, the political leader explained that the mobilizations began this Monday, October 27, in the coastal states of Sucre, Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta, and Delta Amacuro. The objective is to reaffirm the Venezuelan people’s commitment to peace and the defense of national sovereignty against external threats.
The revolutionary leader denounced that «US imperialism, together with the lackey government of Trinidad and Tobago,» has decided to conduct military exercises near Venezuelan territory. He described this action as a provocation and a false flag operation intended to justify an aggression against Venezuela.
He asserted that the North American empire is seeking any justification to attack the Bolivarian nation. He noted that previous narratives such as the «Tren de Aragua» or the «Cartel de los Soles» have lost international credibility, and they now need to create new pretexts.
The PSUV Secretary General emphasized that the Venezuelan people remains mobilized but peaceful, sending a fraternal message to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. «These peoples are brothers, regardless of who governs Trinidad,» stated Cabello during his speech.
The mobilizations will continue «as long as necessary” as reiterated the political leader. The call seeks to demonstrate national unity in the face of what they consider an imminent threat to Venezuelan sovereignty.
