The Sectoral Vice President for Polictics, Citizen Security, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported on the activation of Operation Independence 200 in the Integral Defense Operational Zones (ZODI) of La Guaira and Carabobo states. The details of the civil-military deployment were presented by the senior official during the broadcast of his weekly «Con El Mazo Dando” program.
The senior official explained that the execution of the operation follows a specific planning structure that includes 27 checkpoints in both federal entities. The deployment of the units began in the early hours of the morning, in accordance with the established schedule to ensure the effectiveness of the actions.
During his speech, the Minister of People’s Power for Internal Affairs, Justice, and Peace highlighted the active participation of the commanding officers, who were «on the streets from very early on, organizing, reviewing, checking, and evaluating”. This mobilization is carried out in compliance with the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, aimed at preparing the Venezuelan people.
Likewise he emphasized the integration of the organized population with the police forces and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in a permanent verification system. This massive deployment and the organization deployed are part of the strategy of integral national defense designed to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and peace.
The implementation of this operation strengthens institutional capacities for maintaining internal order and citizen security, consolidating the principle of civil-military unity as a fundamental pillar of national defense.
