President Maduro: Command, control, and communications exercises strengthen unity of the FANB and the people

The Special Military Exercises of Command, Control, and Communications have significantly strengthened the coordination between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Venezuelan people. President Nicolás Maduro Moros emphasized that these exercises strengthen the defense of national sovereignty and peace, describing the results as positive.

During the assessment of the exercises carried out last Sunday, he emphasized the need to continue fine-tuning the popular-military machinery for a more robust comprehensive defense of the country. As a demonstration of this technological advancement was presented the Tetra Red Zamora communications system, a key tool for optimizing institutional coordination and immediate response in matters of security.

The president congratulated the FANB for its planned and methodical work, reaffirming its commitment to peace: «We defend peace and life; let those who defend war and death go,» he stated, emphasizing the deep unity and brotherhood achieved between the military and the citizenry.

For his part, the Vice President for the Defense Sector, Major General Vladimir Padrino López, detailed the active participation of the people in a series of training exercises conducted in recent weeks. He described these exercises, including «Independencia 200” (Independence 200) as a key moment of integration where «the people went to the barracks and the barracks went to the people.»

For his part, the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, Major General Domingo Hernández Lárez, quoting Carl Clausewitz, emphasized that Command and Control is the main tool for clearing the «fog of war,» combining military art and science.

The central objective of these exercises continues to be to win and consolidate peace as a fundamental right. The goal is to advance the construction of an organizational and command structure that efficiently guarantees the comprehensive defense of the nation.
