The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed that the 7 Transformations (7T) of the Plan de la Patria (Homeland Plan) constitute «seven fronts of intense resistance» against the multifaceted war being waged by the United States (US) against Venezuela. The president noted that this strategy confronts the harassment, sanctions, and threats.
During his investiture ceremony as Doctor Honoris Causa at the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (UMBV), the dignitary emphasized that the country has been able to confront these aggressions thanks to collective wisdom, institutional strength, and national unity. He affirmed that this combination has led to sustained victories over recent years against the various forms of this conflict.
The President explained that these transformations not only act as a defensive shield, but also as fronts for progress in various areas. Economically, they aim to consolidate a new productive structure with thirteen engines to regenerate capacities and meet the needs of the people.
In the social sphere, he explained that the 7Ts seek to comprehensively serve Venezuelans in education, healthcare, housing, and food, among other essential rights. The objective is to guarantee the protection of all sectors of the population, from youth to the elderly.
The President defined these fronts as an active, creative, and victorious resistance, advancing toward the construction of a just, democratic, and egalitarian country. He emphasized that the goal is to forge a «profoundly free» nation, filled with conscious citizens and citizens with dignity.
Finally, he emphasized that these principles must be assimilated by the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela. The idea is that they serve as a guide in the formation of values and in the preparation of the FANB as an institution serving the people and national defense.
