The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, decreed the official start of Christmas in the country (starting from) this October 1st. The announcement was made during his «Con Maduro +» program, with the goal of cultivating joy, peace, and happiness in homes.
The president stated that this measure “is a vaccine against the bitter ones, the fascists, and the violent ones.» He reaffirmed that the country is immunizing itself with a large dose of love, life, and hope, thus officially bringing forward the festive season.
In the economic sphere, the head of state projected growth of over 9 percentage points in recent quarters. He highlighted commercial dynamism, investment, and national production as key drivers of this sustained expansion.
The National Government is committed to ensuring that the festivities take place in peace and harmony. It will be supported by the Civic-Military-Police Union and recreational activities throughout the country.
As part of the Christmas kickoff, was launched «La Ruta Live de la Rumba” (The Party’s Live Route), a national tour by singer Omar Enrique. This musical initiative will run from October 1st to January 10th of next year.
The tour will include more than 40 Venezuelan artists and offer an experience for the entire family. The goal is to celebrate a Christmas filled with music, togetherness, and family joy throughout the country.
