Bolivarian Militia activates more than 300 training points nationwide

In an effort to strengthen the nation’s integral defense, the National Government has announced the activation of more than 312 training points throughout the country, dedicated to the training and development of members of the Bolivarian Militia. This initiative seeks to consolidate the operational and strategic capabilities of this special component of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

The deployment of these training points is part of an integral plan to consolidate territorial defense and prepare militia members for any eventuality. The training activities cover various areas, including territorial defense, civil protection, citizen security, and logistical support. Thousands of men and women who have voluntarily joined the ranks of the Militia are expected to actively participate in these events.

Senior military officials have emphasized the importance of this mobilization: «The Bolivarian Militia is the people in arms, and its constant training is essential to guarantee the sovereignty and peace of the homeland,» declared a spokesperson for the Joint Major Staff. «These 312 training centers are a demonstration of the Venezuelan State’s commitment to preparing its forces for any scenario.»

The establishment of these training centers is in line with the country’s security and defense policies, which seek to ensure territorial integrity and respond to external threats. It has been emphasized that the activities are defensive in nature and are framed within the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which establishes joint responsibility between the State and society in the defense of the nation.

The Bolivarian Militia, which has grown significantly in recent years, is presented as a fundamental pillar in Venezuela’s defense strategy. The training sessions are expected to continue in the coming days and weeks, with the goal of optimizing the training of its members and strengthening the civic-military unity.
