Gran Mision Vuelta a la Patria: 259 Venezuelans return from the US

A new group of 259 Venezuelan migrants repatriated from Texas, United States (US), arrived in the country through the Maiquetía International Airport (La Guaira state). The flight, part of the Gran Mision Vuelta a la Patria (Great Mission Return to the Homeland), transported 214 men, 38 women, 4 girls, and 3 boys.

The Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Affairs, Justice, and Peace reported that the Venezuelan government reiterates its commitment to protecting its citizens, facilitating their return and ensuring they receive the necessary care upon their arrival on national soil.

The reception of the compatriots was carried out by various security agencies. The migrants pass through an immigration tunnel to review each case, receive medical attention, and are then transferred to their homes.

With the resumption of the plan in February, more than 12,000 Venezuelans have returned as part of the National Government’s efforts to support its citizens abroad.
