President Nicolás Maduro: Alleged attack in the Caribbean is an escalation of psychological warfare against Venezuela

President Nicolás Maduro denounced the alleged video of a US attack in the Caribbean Sea as part of an escalation of psychological warfare against Venezuela. He stated that it is being used to justify aggressions and to create a narrative that would allow a military intervention against the country.

During his «Con Maduro+” program, the president asserted that the way the news was staged and announced left the United States in a very bad light in the eyes of the world. He described the incident as the confession of an unjustifiable crime, with no right to defense by the North American power.

The first dignitary stated that the incident, far from being a legitimate action, represents a «maritime death penalty.» He also highlighted that the debate generated on social media has revealed deep contradictions in the official US narrative, helping to expose the truth to the public.

He accused the US government of being an empire “based on lies and threats.» The Venezuelan president maintained that these blackmail tactics are replicated through social media, where global citizens question and expose the actions of imperialism.

The head of state revealed that he had reviewed multiple analyses of the controversial video: «I saw hundreds of proofs of evidence where is justified that the video is (made with AI (Artificial Intelligence), but I also saw international opinions that said, if that were true, it was a tremendous crime,» he stated, highlighting the polarization surrounding the case.

Finally, he reiterated that this case must be rigorously evaluated under international law. He called on multilateral organizations to closely monitor the use of propaganda as a tool of aggression and demand accountability.
