In a severe blow to drug trafficking, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized a stash of 2,800 kilograms of cocaine in the state of Amazonas. The operation took place in the Maroa municipality, in a jungle area, as part of the ongoing fight against drug trafficking.

He described the action as a «precise and forceful blow» in the region.
At the same time, in the western part of the country, the FANB executed Operation Bolivarian Shield «Cacique Manaure 2025» In Falcón state, in the Mauroa municipality, two citizens were arrested transporting 90 blocks of marijuana weighing 47.35 kg and 3.25 kg of cocaine in a truck.
In addition to the drugs seized in Falcón, authorities seized 79 american dollars, 100,000 Colombian pesos, and two cell phones as evidence related to the detainees’ illicit activities.
Complementing these operations, Operation «Bolivarian Shield Wara 2025» in Delta Amacuro state managed to locate and destroy six clandestine shipyards. These structures functioned as logistics camps for the construction and repair of vessels destined for drug trafficking at the mouth of the Orinoco River.
