This Thursday, August 21, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led in the 23 de Enero parish in Caracas a strategic deployment of the Bolivarian National Militia (MNB), which formally joins the Peace Quadrants in the 5,336 Communal Circuits throughout the country.
During the event, the president highlighted the strength of the Venezuelan people with a speech full of conviction:
“The strength that the militiamen and militiawomen possess come, like mine, from the most powerful energy that can exist. If the people of Moses defeated the pharaoh and the people of David defeated Goliath, the Venezuelan people have already overcome empires and tyrannies. Who can defeat them? No one will be able to defeat Venezuela!”
In addition, the president awarded members of the Militia with the First Class Cross of the Bolivarian Militia, recognizing their commitment:
“I am proud of the role you all play, whose loyalty and revolutionary spirit make you worthy of this honor. The nation honors you to continue advancing from triumph to triumph.”
Strengthening security and national unity:
The integration of the Militia into the Peace Quadrants aims to strengthen citizen security, national cohesion, and sovereignty through the active participation of reservists in surveillance, patrol, and community coordination. This initiative strengthens coordination between the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), and the organized People’s Power.
More than 2,000 members of the armed forces from key sectors, including the MNB, PNB, GNB, PDVSA, and Corpoelec participated in the activity, demonstrating their support for President Maduro and their commitment to peace in the country.
The Bolivarian National Militia will play a fundamental role in territorial control tasks, collaborating with the state’s security forces to guarantee protection, stability, and tranquility throughout the national territory.
