The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the country is making progress in creating its own development system, without replicating foreign models: “We are building our own path; it is not an imitation. In Venezuela, it is the Venezuelans who decide. Our military and police forces are made up of professionals committed to the people,” he stated.
During a visit to the El Guarataro sector, in the San Juan parish of Caracas, the president supervised the deployment of security forces in the 299 Peace Quadrants, now linked to the Communal Circuits of the capital. Maduro emphasized the need to optimize these spaces to strengthen coexistence:
“We must perfect the Peace Quadrants, always involving the community to create more harmonious and happy public environments. This way, we will ensure that our noble people have safe spaces and move toward a united, tolerant, and peaceful country,” he stated.
The initiative includes technological equipment, vehicles, patrols, and immediate response mechanisms, based on the principle of integration between the people, the armed forces, and the police. This system expands its coverage from 146 to 299 quadrants in Caracas.
Maduro emphasized that this approach revisits the legacy of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez, promoting a democratic, humane, and Bolivarian socialism as a guide for the 21st century.
