National President highlights political stability as a regional reference

During a meeting with authorities of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole, President Nicolás Maduro emphasized that Venezuela enjoys levels of political stability and legitimacy that are exemplary in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The president emphasized that all public posts in the country are decided through popular elections:

«Our officials are elected by the Venezuelan people; they are not appointed by the US government or any foreign power,» he stated, defending the transparency of the national electoral system.

President Maduro also highlighted the emergence of new leadership within the Bolivarian Revolution, evidenced by the fact that 53% of the recently elected officials are new faces, demonstrating a healthy process of political renewal.

The head of state emphasized that Venezuela is experiencing a period of peace and economic growth, with the expansion of its productive forces. He expressed his gratitude for the public support in the face of international pressure, reaffirming: «We will hold fast our banners of freedom and Bolívar’s legacy.»

This statement is part of the context of institutional consolidation the country is experiencing, according to the national government, despite geopolitical and economic challenges.
