Head of State promotes second T to consolidate human cities throughout the country

With the goal of improving and modernizing all the country’s localities, strengthening citizens’ sense of belonging and well-being, President Nicolás Maduro called on all sectors to join forces in the development of urban infrastructure as part of the second phase of transformation (2T): Human Cities.

The president emphasized the importance of beautifying every corner of the country: «From San Fernando de Apure to Boconó, city by city, municipality by municipality, we must make them even more beautiful than they already are.» He thus highlighted the commitment to making Venezuela a benchmark for urban development, coexistence, and democracy, even in the face of economic challenges.

Also, he announced the creation of a National Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI), whose main focus will be the «Smart and Human Cities» program. This initiative will seek to integrate technology, planning, and community participation to improve everything from small hamlets to large urban centers.

President Maduro highlighted the country’s capacity for innovation: «Venezuela has learned to do a lot with little. Before, with abundant oil, we achieved little. Today, with creativity and effort, we are achieving great goals,» he said, referring to agreements with delegations from China and Europe.

As part of this plan, the National Corporation and the Human Cities Fund will be created, which will pool resources from different sources without affecting existing budgets. He also mentioned the «Juntos Todo Es Posible”(Together Everything is Possible) Corporation, focused on coordinating actions to beautify cities and strengthen the community. «The Venezuelan people deserve modern, beautiful, and humane cities. Let’s advance together,» he said.

He highlighted the growth of entrepreneurship as a demonstration of the dynamism and creativity of the Venezuelan people, who are committed to the development and transformation of the country.
