President Nicolás Maduro emphasized that the country maintains exceptional relations with the emerging new world order, marked by multipolarity, accelerated economic growth, and collaboration between nations of the Global South.
Furthermore, the president noted that the global economic center has shifted toward Asia and Southeast Asia, a region where powers such as the People’s Republic of China, which he called «the Great Giant,» as well as emerging economies such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia, have gained a greater influence:
«All of them are our brothers and allies. Venezuela has extraordinary ties with this emerging, multipolar world, whose progress is unstoppable in the current historical context,» he stated, emphasizing the country’s strategic role in this new geopolitical scenario.
With these statements, the head of state reaffirmed Venezuela’s commitment to a more inclusive international system, based on sovereignty, self-determination, and cooperation in solidarity among nations.
The country promotes a model of international relations based on mutual respect, economic complementarity, and the formation of alliances that impulse an equitable and sustainable development.
