President Maduro highlights Territorial Socialism as the new form of popular organization

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted Territorial Socialism as the new form of popular organization in a message published on his social media, on the occasion of the inauguration of the «Juana Ramírez La Avanzadora» Socialist Mission Base, held last Thursday in Caracas.

«The Seven Communal Councils are advancing in the construction of popular power,» he stated through his Telegram channel.

The activity, part of the Operación Caracas Sonríe”(Caracas Smiles Operation), seeks to strengthen the communal structure. The head of state highlighted the growth of communal circuits, stating that when 6,000 communes are reached, they will be the basis of the new model of power in Venezuela.

In his message, the president emphasized that, following the victory of July 28, 2024, the country lives in peace and stability. He also noted that popular consultations are a key tool to demonstrate the organized strength of the people in the face of fascism.

The «Sarría Rebelde» Commune, made up of seven communal councils, is an example of this model. Among them are “Sarría y su Gente” (Sarria and its people), Cacique Guaicaipuro, and Brisas de Montaña Alta councils, which work together for community development.

Territorial Socialism is consolidating as the cornerstone of Venezuelan politics, promoting active community participation and guaranteeing peace.
