Intelligence work are advancing in Apure state. The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), as part of the Vuelvan Caras Operation located and destroyed a clandestine airstrip, two aircraft, a laboratory, and a logistics center for drug processing.
Regarding the procedure, the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, GJ. Domingo Hernández Lárez, detailed that in the Los Llanos (Plains region) Strategic Integral Defense Region, troops deployed along the Buena Vista del Meta – Elorza route as part of patrol operations. The Leonardo Infante Air and Naval Task Force located the two aircraft hidden in the forest on the clandestine airstrip. In the area, they also located the logistics center belonging to the Colombian armed terrorist and drug trafficking groups (TANCOL):
«Venezuela is a land of peace, law, and justice. We do not grow, produce, or consume drug products. Any TANCOL facility or structure in Venezuelan territory will be destroyed immediately,» emphasized the commander of Ceofanb.
