From Petare, Miranda state, President Nicolás Maduro announced that the People’s Power has completed nearly 50,000 projects across the whole National Territory, an unprecedented feat that reflects the organizational strength of the people.
The president emphasized that this achievement is the result of collective effort and direct community management, breaking with traditional schemes and eliminating intermediaries:
«Never before have so many projects been completed in Venezuela, and it was the grassroots who carried them out, ensuring their start and completion without fail,» affirmed Maduro.
This model, based on active citizen participation, has demonstrated greater efficiency in the use of resources. Miranda Governor Elio Serrano emphasized the need to channel funds directly to communities, ensuring that grassroots projects become a reality.
Maduro also emphasized that this effort extends into the future: on July 27, communities will vote on initiatives designed by and for young people, consolidating their leading role in the country’s development.
