The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and Venezuelan intelligence services have reinforced security at the land, sea, and air border crossings with Colombia. This deployment seeks to guarantee stability in the area and prevent the infiltration of paramilitary groups, as reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Interior relations, Justice, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, during his «Con El Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer) program.
The senior official explained that the measure is in response to attempts by ultra-right wing groups to mobilize a paramilitary camp from Colombia to Venezuela. This information was revealed by the cooperating patriot Patricio «El Maracucho,» who sent a letter warning about the destabilizing strategy.
According to the revelations, the commander of the paramilitary camp, identified as «Alfa 1,» reportedly warned about the difficulties of the operation. Despite this, the plan was pursued under pressure from opposition figures.
Political pressure and imposed beadlines:
One of the most relevant facts revealed was that María Corina Machado reportedly demanded to continue with the strategy, warning that, of not overthrowing the Venezuelan government by July, she would lose the support of her international allies and would be forced to leave the country.
The Venezuelan government maintains a strict control of the border in order to neutralize any threat. The FANB and security agencies remain on alert, carrying out operations to reinforce national sovereignty.
With this operation, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to peace and stability, preventing violent groups from disrupting public peace. The FANB and intelligence services remain on a fighting footing to protect territorial integrity.
