It would be a terrible mistake to believe that the European Union (EU) is going to get involved in a war against Iran and think they are alone. Whoever makes those calculations is wrong. Or for the United States to promote a war in the world and believe that this will be like the Second World War that took place there, that it would be global. Leave the world alone,» emphasized Cabello.
He stressed that Venezuela will follow the path of Commander Chávez, «because the Bolivarian Revolution is not committed to imperialism, but there are others who want to surrender the country’s wealth at the cost of the blood of Venezuelans themselves,» he added. He also questioned «what the Venezuelan opposition is up to.» «When they leave, they will say: Iran is going to fall, and then Venezuela.»
In this regard, he indicated that when people take a step like the one the people of Iran took, «there is no one to stop them; it was like the step Venezuela took when it decided to no longer be a colony of Spain.» He also hopes for peace to prevail in the world, «because everything has its origins in the genocide committed by the Zionism in Palestine and with its neighbors; that is the beginning of it all. Europe watched impassively, but they are cowards and accomplices.»
On the other hand, he added that Venezuela, amid its difficulties, is a happy people, «but today the Palestinian people are going through a terrible situation, and the world cannot stand idly by in the face of this. Israel must be stopped.»
