President Maduro leads Workshop on the 7 Major Transformations for the 2026-2031 Parliament

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led the Workshop on the 7 Major Transformations for the 2026-2031 Parliament from the José Félix Ribas Hall. The main objective of the meeting was to establish the strategic guidelines that will guide the country’s development in the coming years.

Roadmap for a New Era:

It is worth remembering that on January 15, before the National Assembly and after his inauguration for the 2025-2031 term, the head of state presented the 7T Plan. This plan represents the evolution of the 3Rs.Net, transformed into seven key goals that seek to modernize the economy, consolidate full independence, guarantee peace, security, and territorial integrity, and advance in the social, political, ecological, and geopolitical spheres over the next seven years.

In line with this vision, the National Assembly has been discussing an ambitious legislative proposal in recent months. This proposal contemplates the creation of nine central codes that seek to organize the country’s development, covering fundamental areas such as social, educational, productive, criminal, communal, and environmental matters.

The 7 Transformations: Core of the New Development Model:

The Executive branch considers this legislative instrument to be the fundamental pillar of the new development model for Venezuela, a model that aspires to be inclusive and prosperous, based on respect and participation of all sectors of society.

The Seven Transformations outlined are as follows:

– Economic modernization: To impulse the country’s productive and technological development.

– Full Independence: To strengthen national sovereignty against any external interference.

– Peace, security, and territorial integrity: To ensure internal stability and territorial defense.

– Social Transformation: To significantly improve citizens’ quality of life, with special attention to education, healthcare, and public services.

– Political Transformation: To move toward a more participatory and inclusive political system.

– Ecology: To promote sustainable practices and protect the environment.

– Geopolitics: To position Venezuela as a relevant and strategic player on the international stage.

Strengthening Participatory Democracy:

Another essential component of this initiative is the Concrete Action Agenda (ACA), designed to deepen participatory democracy. This includes the election of communal justices of the peace and the expansion of communal election channels.

Consequently, the President has focused this project on defining key methods for economic growth, the modernization of productive sectors, and the strengthening of public policies aimed at the social transformation of the nation.
